grid heater light on while driving???

ok guys, heres a doozy for ya. driving to a rodney atkins concert this past weekend, and i was runnin 65mph with the cruise control on, i started to hear that "warning" ding, and then all of a sudden the grid heater/wait to start light was on for about 3 seconds and then shut off and hasnt done it since.

could it possibly have something to do with the pto/high idle mod i just finished to the truck???

thanks guys, any help would be appreciated!
